It's the big 6-oh for the Coming Up Short podcast! Episode #60 is a great one, with two thirds of the participants being in the World Series of Comedy. Angela Nacca joins Eric Rosenblum (who, for some reason, Jon called Rosenberg) and Jon Levine for an action packed episode of Coming Up Short.
The three start off talking about the World Series of Comedy and Angela's experience with it. They also talk about how Angela got started in comedy and who she thinks is a better comedy teacher, Will Watkins or Ramon Garcia. Angela also talks about her experience doing theater and the time she spent in the operating room (hint: not as a patient).
The show is wrapped up with a talk about Marina 84 and why Jon is no longer hosting the room.

Episode #59 of the Coming Up Short podcast is a fun one and brings to the table a wide diversity of comedic discussion. Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine welcome Noam Manor into the Chula Vista Studios where the three not only discuss standup, but also improv.
Noam came to the world of standup comedy mainly due to her part in the movie Guffpunch where she had to play the role of a comedian. However, Noam was no noobie to the stage. Her experience as part of the cast of the Sick Puppies improv troupe provided her with the knowledge she needed to jump right in.
The three also discuss some other topics such as Brian Coronado's birthday, Jon's acceptance into the Word Series of Comedy tournament in Chattanooga, TN, the fact that Ethan Moore keeps sending out dick pics, and that Power Up Pub, formerly Another Castle, will now be getting yet another name.

We should call episode #58 of the Coming Up Short podcast our 'Kickstarter' edition as that's really the main focus of our show. Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine welcome into the studio Brett Engle who's in the process of launching a brand-new Kickstarter campaign to re-cut and re-release a very old movie.
Brett tells the Coming Up Short crew about a film that his Grandfather and Great Uncle shot back in the 70's that's full of cowboys, wilderness, animal stunts, and a whole lot more. This film, that lay dormant for years, ended up being the focus of a cult music video and several national appearances, all unbeknownst to Brett! It's a fascinating story of how this film was uncovered and the plans that Brett has for it in the future.

It's episode 57 of the Coming Up Short podcast and it's a great one! This week Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine learn more about our in-studio guest than we've ever thought possible. Lamonte Stewart joins Jon and Eric in the Chula Vista Studios to tell his amazing origin story.
Even having known Lamonte for a several years now, neither of us knew how diverse and colorful his background is. Additionally, Lamonte runs his own podcast, as well as the Kill Your Idol show in Miami.
