Coming Up Short is back this week with another great episode coming to you pseudo-live from the Chula Vista Studios. Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine welcome on to the show the South Florida local comedian who has arguably the best name around, Harvey G. Bramwell.
Right off the bat Eric and Jon ask Harvey the hard-hitting questions. Questions like, "What does the G stand for?" are tackled from minute one and it only goes deeper from there. Not only do the three discuss Harvey's comedy-origin story, but also uncover the revelation that HGB is also a musician with an upcoming album release. On top of that, we discuss Harvey's start across the pond and how good the movie Escape from New York is.

This week, Coming Up Short is coming up tall. Real tall! Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine welcome the tallest comedian in the local scene, Brandon Bennington. After some initial awkwardness as Jon vents his short anger on Brandon for not having to deal with the heightists on online dating sites, the three get down to business.
Brandon's comedic journey is an interesting one that wound through such diverse areas as playing college football, to being in the Navy. Brandon's definitely not stopping here as he talks about his desire to move to Los Angeles and three discuss the merits of moving to a bigger market.

It's the 1 year anniversary edition of the Coming Up Short podcast! February 13th of 2015 is when Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine first got together and created Coming Up Short and here they are a year later still going strong! That first episode was much different than what it is today. No theme music, no guest, just two short Jews talking about comedy and dating.
A year later, the show has matured. It's still two short Jews, but it has it's own theme song and each week a new guest drops by the Chula Vista Studios to talk about their comedic journey. This week, Jon and Eric welcome into the studio Tim Kirby!
Tim talks to the duo about his start in front of audiences as a corporate trainer who would inject a bit of humor into what he was saying to what he's become today. The three discuss the rooms that Tim runs, including a new one at Bottega Wine Bar in Coconut Creek, as well as the people that really helped him out at the beginning.

Episode 53 of the Coming Up Short podcast is out! This week Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine welcome in to the Chula Vista studios the long-haired beauty himself, Mr. Nico Prada. Nico joins the pair on only the second episode to be live-streamed via Periscope! If you want to watch Coming Up Short live as it's being recorded every Saturday, be sure to visit Twitter.com/CUSpodcast.
The three dive in quickly to Nico's start in comedy and how he came to be affiliated with Damien Figler and the Degenerate Comedy crew (hint: it's all about a t-shirt). We also talk about Nico's cross-country touring, how he came to spend the night at Doug Stanhope's house. Plus, the three talk about the fact that none of them are Mike Atcherson hobbyists and how Manny Garavito's episode came to be the most listened to of all time.

It's been 52 episodes of Coming Up Short and the show is quickly approaching its year anniversary! It's been a fun ride for Eric Rosenblum and Jon Levine, one that continues this week. Not only do the pair have a fantastic guest on the show, but it's also the first episode to by live streamed on Periscope as it was being recorded!
Coming into the Chula Vista Studios this week to join Eric and Jon is the one-and-only Chris Z! Chris's comedy journey has been a long and interesting one that spans from an almost accidental beginning, to his adventures in Los Angeles, and onto the Middle East where he performed for the troops.
Chris's insight and experience in comedy is nearly unparalleled in the local scene which makes this episode not only fun, but a wealth of information.
